The Dallas Morning News reported that a blue Volkswagen hit a woman about 11:45 pm Saturday night in the 2500 block of Oak Lawn Avenue.
The woman was transferred to a hospital, where she later died.
According to the report, Dallas police said the woman was crossing the street but wasn’t walking in the crosswalk when the car hit her. Police also say that the person driving the Volkswagen did not get hurt in the accident.
Police did not release the identity of the victim.
It is unclear if police will be charging anyone in the case as the Dallas Police Department has not released further information about the crash.
