Burned Body Discovered in Dallas

The burned body of a man was discovered in a Dallas alleyway early Sunday morning.

On April 3, a caller reported a body in the 1300 block of Kings Highway, near North Edgefield Avenue, prompting police and paramedics to respond around 9:18 a.m.

Officers and Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived and discovered the body of a male victim who had been burned. There were no other noticeable injuries, according to police.

At the time of his death, the victim was wearing boots, pants, a dress shirt, and a wedding band on his left hand.

Authorities say the medical examiner’s office will utilize forensic methods to identify the man. The circumstances of the homicide are unknown. An investigation is ongoing.
