Kelly Neidert, a prominent activist associated with Protect Texas Kids, found herself in a distressing situation over the weekend when her life was threatened at a gay pride event in Dallas on Saturday.

Neidert, along with members from Protect Texas Kids, protested the pride event in Fair Park.

Neidert has been a vocal advocate for child protection and has actively worked towards ensuring the safety and well-being of Texas children.

During the event, Neidert was subjected to threatening remarks and actions that targeted her for her stance against the exploitation of children in adult situations at LGBTQ+ pride events.

Video posted to the Protect Texas Kids Twitter account shows pride eventgoers yelling at Neidert and one woman saying, “Guess what, one day somebody’s going to shoot you in the head.”

Neidert took to social media to explain what happened at the pride event at Fair Park.

“While peacefully standing outside of the Dallas Pride ‘kid-friendly’ drag show today, I was repeatedly told by angry counter-protesters that I was going to be ‘shot in the head,'” Neidert explained.

“Some asked me to leave the barricaded area so they could assault me. I eventually had to be escorted out by Dallas Police,” Neidert continued.

“These are truly sick people. Not only do they want to expose children to sexual content, they also want to use violence to silence anyone who opposes them. But we will not stop fighting to protect children,” Neidert concluded.

Other users chimed in on what happened.

“Remember, these are the ‘anti-fascists’ using tactics of fascism, those celebrating ‘love and unity’ by spreading hate and violence,” user Ben McMillan replied on the Twitter thread.

The incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by activists who speak out on sensitive issues and work toward creating a safer environment for children in Texas.

Protect Texas Kids is an organization dedicated to “protecting kids from the toxic, indoctrinating agenda of the left.”

Their work often intersects with LGBTQ+ issues, as ensuring the protection and support of children is crucial.
