The driver of an 18-wheeler is uninjured after losing control and crashing while traveling on I-35 in Northwest Dallas last week.
Just after 2 a.m. on March 7, the trailer disconnected from the cab and slid down an embankment on the freeway near 635. The semi-truck contained 40,000 pounds of bananas.
It took a few hours to clear the cab and its bananas from the highway.
The wet road from Sunday night’s rain appears to have caused the accident.
