Three teenagers were found dead inside a home near Houston on Tuesday, January 18. The residence was located in the 4500 block of Wolcek in Crosby, a Houston-Area community about 25 miles northeast of the city.
The deceased teens were discovered by a family member who lives next door to the home.
According to the evidence, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez believes that the teens died from a double homicide-suicide.
In a news conference, Gonzalez said, “At this initial stage of the incident, based on the trauma that was viewed, it appears that this may be a case of a possible double homicide and a suicide. But that is still under investigation … we’re going to continue to investigate further.”
Gonzalez added that police found a firearm at the scene.
Authorities have not released critically-identifying information; however, two female teens and one male teen were confirmed to be involved.
An investigation is in progress.
Police do not have a motive for the shooting or knowledge of how the teens may be connected.
