Dallas Police arrested a 21-year-old on February 9 for his alleged connection to the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Juan Jairo Toran last month.
As previously reported by The Dallas Express, the victim was found dead within a vehicle by police at the scene of 11232 Woodmeadow Parkway on January 26.
Zackius Rayshun Scott faces a charge of capital murder for the teen’s death.
Police continue to search for other suspects.
According to a jail record, Scott is held on a $1 million bond at the Dallas County Jail.
He also has a charge for unauthorized use of a vehicle and a probation violation.
