Hot cooking grease left a toddler in Plano critically burned on March 1.
The 2-year-old boy was severely burned on Tuesday after he pulled a fryer filled with hot grease off of a countertop and onto himself.
Firefighters were called to the scene at a Plano apartment complex in the 3500 Block of Park Boulevard at 8 p.m.
The child was transported to the Parkland Hospital burn unit.
He suffered burns on over 30% of his body, including his face, but his injuries are non-life-threatening.
Plano fire investigators determined that the incident was an accident.
