14-year-old North Texas Girl Missing in Winter Weather

Grand Prairie Police have filed a missing persons report for a 14-year-old girl who disappeared on February 3.

Destani Texada was last seen leaving home on foot around 10 a.m. in the 900 block of Pangburn Street near Great Southwest and Jefferson Boulevard.

According to police, she has an intellectual disability, and that her disappearance “poses a credible threat” to her health and safety, especially due to the current weather conditions.

The teenager is described as a Black female who is 5 foot 1 inch tall, weighs 100 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with ruffles on the collar, blue satin pants, a pink jacket, and gray shoes.

Anyone with information regarding this endangered missing person is asked to contact the Grand Prairie Police Department at 972-237-8777.
