There is no better way to end a hectic workday or spend a relaxing afternoon than at one of the Dallas wineries. Dallas area wineries are becoming the in-place for casual get-togethers, parties, and peaceful nearby get-a-ways with an eclectic ambiance to excellent tasting wine.

The Lone Star State is home to more than 325 wineries, so there are plenty of options to select. Texas Uncorked is a website operated by a marketing maven where you can find wineries throughout the state, including those a few miles from the heart of Dallas.

Texas Uncorked is more than a simple winery listing. The site offers email notifications for upcoming winery events and lists current promotions and happenings at your favorite Texas wineries. If it is happening at a Lone Star State winery, it is probably on the website.

Additionally, North Texas Wine includes a listing of North Texas wineries in 22 counties that comprise the Dallas area and nearby. As more and more wineries open in the area, the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area to the Red River is becoming a popular location for new establishments.

One Dallas winery, Times Ten Cellars, combines vineyards from Texas and California to source their wines. Located on Prospect Avenue, the site has been “stomping out” wines for 15 years. With a tasting room, lounge, and patio area, Times Ten Cellars is a staple in the local wine industry.
