Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Zips Car Wash has 220 operating locations in nineteen states. Established in 2004 by Mr. Overman, the company is the nation’s second-largest branded express-only ride-thru tunnel wash experience and employs more than 1,600 people.
Mr. Overman invested in Zips last year with Atlantic Street Capital. The company provides multiple levels of auto wash packages in a convenient ride-thru car wash experience. Zips Car Wash also offers free self-service vacuums and unlimited Car Wash Club memberships.
Mr. Dinkens, graduate of the University of Toledo, is an executive with experience in consumer-driven industries and joined Zips last year as President.
Preceding Zips in 2020, Mr. Dinkens was most recently COO of Lori’s Gifts, the largest provider of hospital gift store outsourcing solutions in the country, with over 400 locations across the country.
Prior to Lori’s, he served for nearly four years as COO of Z Wireless, a Verizon Premium Wireless retailer, taking it from 200 sites to Verizon’s largest agent with more than 1,100 sites in 2018.
He was just announced as the new CEO of Zips Car Wash, while Brett Overman will continue as Chairman and majority owner of Zips.
