World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has partnered with Nextbite to launch a temporary virtual restaurant in Dallas. The delivery-only restaurant, WWE Smackadillas, launched as part of a promotion for WrestleMania 38, according to the Nextbite press release. They serve a menu of WWE-inspired quesadillas, which will be available until April 11.

“WWE is one of the premier sports and entertainment organizations in the world and is known for giving their passionate fan base exactly what they want,” Nextbite Chief Growth Officer Geoff Madding said. “Whether you order WWE Smackadillas from the comfort of your couch or on your way home from WrestleMania, we look forward to amping up the total WWE experience with these delicious quesadillas for all the hungry fans in the Dallas area.”

The virtual restaurant is available through the delivery apps GrubHub, Uber Eats, and DoorDash. Nextbite will also be offering giveaways and other activations during the week leading up to WrestleMania.

“Watching your favorite Superstars in action really works up an appetite – whether it’s live or from the comfort of your couch,” the WWE Smackadillas website states. “To gear you up for the most stupendous house party or after-party in history, WWE Smackadillas delivers from lunch till late night! These heavyweight quesadillas are stacked and loaded with signature ingredients and unexpected flavor combos. Add sides and a drink for a true tag-team effort! Available for a limited time only.”

According to the press release, Nextbite has been creating virtual restaurants since 2017, when they were initially known as Ordermark. Nextbite partners with established restaurants and kitchens to make selections of delivery-only food, helping local restaurants thrive.

The portfolio of brands that Nextbite has worked with includes HotBox by Wiz Khalifa, George Lopez Tacos, and Grilled Cheese Society.

According to Nextbite, they have also partnered with IHOP to launch two delivery-only brands, Super Mega Dilla and Thrilled Cheese. Both brands will be available in fifty restaurants across nine states, including Texas.

CEO and co-founder of Nextbite, Alex Canter, said he hopes the company will be able to expand into more IHOP locations soon.

“We’re thrilled to partner with IHOP, who has a large footprint across the United States, where we can maximize their kitchen output with new, in-demand, delivery-only menus,” Canter said. “Based on our early test results and the excitement shown so far by the IHOP franchisees, we hope to expand to more IHOP restaurants throughout the year.”

Jay Johns, the President of IHOP, said the new partnership would allow for continued growth, even during non-peak hours.

“These new virtual brands leverage what we do best, create delicious food on our griddles, and the menus are perfect for our existing equipment and capabilities,” Johns said.

The WWE Smackadillas menu is only available in the Dallas-Fort Worth area until April 11. The quesadillas offered include the Power Bomb Pizza, the Onion Rumble, and Chicken vs. Ranch.

WrestleMania 38 will occur in the AT&T Stadium in Dallas on April 2 and April 3.
