Specialty asset management company Valor, based out of Fort Worth, is welcoming three new team members to their oil and gas accounting department.

Valor, which focuses on providing mineral management solutions and oil and gas outsourcing, announced Carmen Viramontes, Anastasiya Prokhorska, and Cathy Gossett will join the company this month.

“On behalf of the company, we’re very pleased to welcome Carmen, Anastasiya, and Cathy to our growing oil and gas accounting department,” said  Hanna Howard, COO of Valor. “Each of these talented professionals has previously worked with high-profile oil and gas companies and are highly experienced in their craft. They’ll be an excellent asset to our growing accounting team, as they support both our growing client roster.”

Carmen (Maria) Viramontes holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tarleton State University. Following college, she began her career in oil and gas as a revenue accountant with Approach Resources. Later, she worked at Fleur de Lis Energy in Irving as a property accountant.

Before ultimately moving to Valor, Viramontes worked as a revenue accountant for Texland Petroleum.

Anastasiya (Ana) Prokhorska earned an associate degree in business administration and management in 2013. Once out of school, she spent seven years working at BOK Financial in various roles, including as an oil and gas revenue specialist. After BOK, Ana held positions at multiple other companies in the industry before starting with Valor.

Cathy Gosset studied accounting at Tarrant County College and worked for numerous operators in the oil and gas space, including Gravity Oilfield Services. Prior to joining Valor, Gosset held the title of accounting associate for Bennett, Vincent, and Company CPAs.
