Elon Musk announced that his America PAC would give away $1 million daily to someone who signs a petition supporting the First and Second Amendments until Election Day.
This initiative, revealed at a town hall in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, over the weekend, aims to gather more signatures while emphasizing free speech and the right to bear arms, FOX Business reported.
The first $1 million award went to John Dreher, a longtime Musk fan who encouraged him to continue promoting the petition.
Musk’s PAC is focused on rallying voters in swing states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Michigan to sign the petition by October 21.
Musk has contributed $75 million to the America PAC, making him a major Republican donor. The PAC spent nearly $72 million between July and September.
Musk, a former Democratic voter, endorsed Trump this summer after an assassination attempt on the former president.
His public support for Trump and significant financial backing marks a shift in Musk’s political engagement.
Musk’s campaign travels have centered on the importance of battleground states in the 2024 election, aiming to galvanize voters through his petition campaign.
His involvement, along with that of other major Republican donors, like Timothy Mellon and Miriam Adelson, is shaping the GOP’s funding landscape ahead of the election.
