Paycom Software Inc. has plans to add another building to its Texas operations center in Grapevine. The move comes less than two years after the payroll and human resources software company built a four-story facility at the same location.
“Our second building on the Grapevine campus will accommodate our continued growth in the DFW area and will house our service and core operational roles,” Paycom spokesperson Jason Bodin Sr. wrote in an emailed statement to The Dallas Express.
“This addition ensures we have ample space for years to come,” Bodin added.
Paycom, which has its headquarters in Oklahoma City, opened the 14-acre Grapevine location in May 2022 after acquiring the site from the city in a deal that included $5 million in tax incentives, real estate publication The Real Deal reported.
The Grapevine office is home to human resources, operations, technology, and other corporate employees, according to the company’s website. Paycom’s primary North Texas hub is in Irving.
According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filing, the second 118,000-square-foot building has a projected construction cost of $27 million, with a project completion date of February 2025. The precast concrete and steel framed office building is set to span four stories.
Construction on the addition to the Paycom operations center is set to begin in December.
HSE Architects has been tapped as the design firm for the expansion project.
Paycom, founded in 1998, is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The company recently reported revenue of $406 million for the third quarter, up 22% from the comparable prior year period, with GAAP net income of approximately $75.2 million.
