Patriot Mobile is introducing the UP Phone, a purportedly privacy-centered, secure smartphone alternative.
“The UP Phone is a revolutionary new smartphone that sets a new standard in mobile phone technology privacy. The Unplugged Up Suite includes encrypted messaging, secure app store, VPN, and anonymized shielded data,” a press release states.
“The UP phone is a privacy-first, secure smartphone designed by cybersecurity professionals for everyday consumer use,” said Glenn Story, Patriot Mobile’s CEO. “Our customers were asking for encrypted email and texting, secure storage, and a phone free from Google or Apple tracking. Patriot Mobile is delivering on those products for our customers with the UP Phone.”
According to the press release, the UP Phone offers users a similar experience to Android phones but without the “pervasive surveillance” associated with other smartphones. UP Phones use the LibertOS operating system built on the Android Open Source Project.
“The revolutionary UP Phone is perfect for those who want a system free of Big Tech components that track, monitor, and monetize your data. This new smartphone provides protection from spying and intrusion without compromising on the intuitive user experience you’ve come to expect,” Patriot Mobile’s product website reads.
The phones feature:
- Encrypted Email Service
- Secure Encrypted Texting
- Storage Secured from Hacking
- Unplugged Antivirus
The phone is now available for purchase on Patriot Mobile’s website.
