ONM Living has begun leasing nearly 850 new cottage-style rental homes across three communities in Collin and Tarrant counties, expanding the company’s footprint in two of the fastest-growing areas of North Texas, according to a Dec. 4 press release.

The new developments — Cottages at Anna Station in Anna, Cottages at Lake Lavon in Lavon, and Cottages at Deer Creek in Fort Worth — are located near major job centers, highways, and rapidly growing suburban corridors.

“Many North Texans are increasingly turning to new ways to enjoy the single-family lifestyle,” said Ty Robinson, president of ONM Living. “Our focus is on providing residents with a quality and effortless living experience in sought-after locations such as Anna, Lavon and Fort Worth.”

North Texas Leads Build-to-Rent Growth

North Texas has emerged as one of the country’s most active build-to-rent markets. As previously reported by The Dallas Express, nearly 8,500 single-family rental homes are currently under construction across the region, driven by rapid population growth and demand for flexible living options.

Fort Worth alone has more than 1,800 build-to-rent units in the pipeline — the most in North Texas — according to the release.

Collin County Communities Add 464 Homes

Two of the new ONM communities are located in Collin County, which added nearly 76,000 new residents last year.

  • Cottages at Anna Station — 196 homes
Located along the fast-growing U.S. 380 corridor with access to employment hubs in Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Richardson, Denton, and Grayson County.

  • Cottages at Lake Lavon — 268 homes
Situated near the Elevon master-planned development off SH-78 and close to shopping, dining, and recreation areas including Lake Lavon and Lake Ray Hubbard.

Fort Worth Community Adds 378 Homes

In Tarrant County, Cottages at Deer Creek adds 378 homes less than a mile from Interstate 35 in south Fort Worth, providing direct access throughout the metroplex.

Homes and Amenities

The three communities offer studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts ranging from 350 to nearly 1,400 square feet, with rents averaging around $1,700 per month.

Community amenities include:

  • Resort-style pool
  • Fitness center
  • Pickleball courts
  • Community-wide Wi-Fi
  • Outdoor gaming and grilling areas
  • Walking trails
  • Dog park

More ONM Living Communities Coming in 2026

Developed in partnership with Jabez Development, ONM Living plans to deliver nearly 700 homes across these communities by year’s end and another 760 homes in 2026 across four upcoming developments:

  • Cottages at Century Farms
  • Cottages at Providence Village
  • Cottages at River Ridge
  • Villas at Century Farms

Founded in 2019, ONM Living now oversees nearly 2,000 homes totaling more than $450 million in capital across 13 communities in Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston.
