McDonald’s fans have reason to celebrate as the fast-food giant reintroduces its beloved Holiday Pie.
The festive dessert, which debuted in 1999, is making a limited return to select U.S. cities this holiday season.
The Holiday Pie features a custard-filled interior nestled in a “flaky, buttery crust,” topped with a sugary glaze and colorful rainbow sprinkles. At just 260 calories, it’s a sweet, indulgent treat for those looking to get into the holiday spirit.
Currently, the pie is available at participating McDonald’s locations in cities including Seattle, Los Angeles, St. Louis, New York City, Cleveland, Memphis, and Dallas, Fox 4 reported.
However, it’s not available everywhere, and McDonald’s hasn’t disclosed the exact locations.
The return of the Holiday Pie adds to McDonald’s seasonal offerings, just as Starbucks has rolled out its own holiday drinks, such as the Peppermint Mocha and Chestnut Praline Latte, along with new Cran-Merry Refreshers.
While McDonald’s fans outside these select cities may have to wait for a wider release, those in the featured locations are already enjoying the festive flavor.
The Holiday Pie is expected to stick around only for a limited time, so fans eager to taste the seasonal treat should act fast.
