Luxury brand Louis Vuitton has revealed its plans for its recently-acquired facility in Irving. According to documents filed with the state, Louis Vuitton intends to renovate the office complex into a customer service center.

The brand purchased the Kinwest Parkway property in Irving in September 2021 for an undisclosed price. Previously, Sunwest Real Estate offered the building for lease, but it was taken off the market after the sale.

First built in 1984, the property includes two buildings with a vaulted atrium, for a total of 160,000 square feet. The complex was recently remodeled to include a new conference center and lounge, as well as outdoor seating areas. It opened in early 2022.

Louis Vuitton now plans to spend $15 million on further renovation. The project will be designed by Dallas-based architect HKS, and is expected to finish later this year.

The complex in Las Colinas expands Louis Vuitton’s preexisting imprint in North Texas. In 2018, the luxury goods maker opened a 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Johnson County. It also has another office and call center establishment in Irving, located at 4200 Regent Boulevard, and offices in Colleyville.

The brand has retail locations in Fort Worth, North Dallas, and Plano.

Louis Vuitton’s headquarters are located in New York. The luxury brand is owned by the Paris-based company LVMH. LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), a French luxury conglomerate, was formed in 1987 when distinguished fashion house Louis Vuitton merged with wines and spirits company Moët Hennessy.

Several other designer brands, including Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, and Tiffany & Co., also belong to LVMH. The company employs more than 150,000 workers across the world.
