According to a press release, Dallas-based Knight Electronics signed a new partnership with franchised distributor New Yorker Electronics. The headquarters for Knight Electronics is located at 10557 Metric Drive in Dallas.

The press release states that “Knight Electronics is a prominent, technically enabled manufacturer with additional brands to support their customers globally with engineering, manufacturing, and inventory; Orion Fans and Io Audio Technologies.”

According to the Knight Electronics website, Robert Knight is a Navy veteran who graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. In 1979, he established Knight Electronics and “began manufacturing basic electronic components through partnerships with Asian manufacturing facilities in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea.”

At the headquarters in Dallas, Knight Electronics inspects products on-site and examines products that are coming and going while using the “highest level of manufacturing precision.”

This manufacturing company is ISO 9001:2015 American certified and ensures “repeatable top-quality construction that exceeds expectations.” Customers can work with the sales and engineering teams to develop their future products.

Knight Electronics has inventory in three continents, and they have an office for sales and distribution in the United Kingdom. Their proven work method contains these factors: initial inquiry, engineering, quote, sampling, manufacturing, and order shipped.

Their website states, “We build strong and long-lasting relationships with our customers by applying our profound expertise in engineering, manufacturing, and logistics across a variety of disciplines so that our customers consistently receive best-in-class service. This is why market leaders partner with Knight Electronics to create products that bring value to their end-users worldwide,” while also stating, “We understand the nuances of international trade and will help you navigate an ever-changing global marketplace.”

New Yorker Electronics was established in 1948 and has always been family-owned. The headquarters for this company is located in Northvale, New Jersey. They are AS9120B and ISO 9001:2015 certified.

The press release states that this company is “a global franchised distributor of electronic components, value-added services, and supply chain solutions to the world’s leading OEMs and contract manufacturers in the commercial, industrial, and aerospace/defense, markets,” and that the “company has earned a reputation for delivering superior levels of reliability and customer support while providing direct franchise access to an extensive ready-to-ship inventory of passive, interconnect, electromechanical and Mil-Spec components, as well as semiconductor devices.”

According to the Knight Electronics website, they began receiving a large number of requests for products involving thermal management in 1995.

This was when Orion Fans was formed, and they developed and manufactured “thermal management products including AC fans, DC fans, EC fans, fan trays and accessories, motorized impellers and blowers,” while also caring for their customers through “engineering expertise, short lead-times, largest fan inventory, and competitive pricing.” Orion Fans is now known as the most extensive thermal management product line in the world.

In 2017, because many customers of Knight Electronics requested audio projects, Io Audio Technologies was formed. Io Audio Technologies’ products are designed by experts “in the live sound industry.”

The press release states that they design, develop, and manufacture “a comprehensive line of audio, video, and lighting (AVL) products for the most discerning customers” and provide “specialty cables, connectors, wires, cable protectors and accessories for the AVL industry.”

The website of Knight Electronics states, “We quickly rose to fill the gaps and bring unprecedented value to the pro-AVL and connector marketplace.”

The President of New Yorker Electronics, Barry Slivka, stated, “We’re proud to be working with Knight Electronics, Orion Fans, and Io Audio Technologies because their resources and technical ability will help keep our customers competitive in their respective industries,” and continued with, “this relationship will improve our customers’ overall supply chain adaptability.”

Vice Presidents of Marketing and Distribution for Orion Fans said, “We are excited to have New Yorker Electronics as a distributor partner. We look forward to working with them to provide thermal management solutions to the same target markets we are focused on.”
