Kentucky Fried Chicken has taken its “finger-lickin’ good” slogan to a whole new level with a fried chicken-flavored toothpaste that’s got folks clucking.

Launched April 1 in collaboration with Australian dental brand Hismile, this $13 limited-edition paste sold out in just 48 hours, leaving fans hungry for more — or maybe just grossed out.

Inspired by KFC’s iconic 11 herbs and spices, the fluoride-free toothpaste “is ‘finger-lickin’ fresh, and brings KFC’s crispy, golden perfection, straight to your toothbrush,” according to Hismile’s website.

“Like biting into a hot, juicy piece of KFC Original Recipe Chicken, this toothpaste is irresistible, coating your teeth in flavor before leaving your mouth feeling fresh and clean,” KFC said in a news release about the new offering.

Paired with a $59 KFC-branded electric toothbrush, it’s a bold leap from buckets to brushing.

“This collab is bold, unexpected, and seriously fun,” Hismile marketing manager Koban Jones told Fox News.

But not everyone’s smiling.

Kyle Krueger gave the paste a whirl and wasn’t impressed.

“It left like a grease flavour in my mouth,” he grimaced, holding up a Colonel Sanders-branded toothbrush in a video posted to X.

Another X user, Andrew Patrick, commented that the trend has gone too far.

What started as an April Fools’ gag turned into a marketing coup, proving that KFC knows how to stir the pot—or sink, in this case. While the toothpaste is sold out, the toothbrush is still up for grabs, tempting die-hard fans to incorporate the Colonel into their morning routine.

Will KFC restock this quirky hygiene hit? There is no word yet, but for now, it’s a crispy curiosity that’s got the internet buzzing.
