Hector Sanchez Promoted To President Of Ashford, Inc.

Dallas-based Ashford, Inc. which provides global asset management, investment management and related services to the real estate and hospitality sectors recently announced the appointment of Hector Sanchez as the new President of the company.

Monty J. Bennett will continue as chairman and chief executive officer. Bennett is the publisher of The Dallas Express.

Sanchez will oversee day-to-day operations, including the company’s operating platforms, performance management and coordination across business units.

Sanchez most recently served as CEO of Premier and previously served as the head of real estate development for Ashford. Since assuming leadership during the pandemic, he and his team rebuilt and repositioned the organization, expanded third-party services by securing more than 150 new contracts, and built a growth platform in multi-family and student-housing sectors.

Under his leadership, his team also incubated an in-house architecture studio and launched a general contracting division, further strengthening the company’s integrated service model. Sanchez and his team have advanced a development pipeline of projects under construction or in planning that represent more than $1 billion in estimated value.

“I’ve worked closely with Hector for years and watched him take Premier to one of the fastest-growing and innovative design, architecture and project management companies in the country,” said Bennett. “That same vision, discipline, and proven ability to execute are exactly what Ashford requires at this stage. I am fully confident Hector will drive enhanced performance and continued expansion across our platform.”

Sanchez will step into the role immediately and report directly to Bennett.
