French luxury brand Givenchy will open a store in Dallas next year after completing renovations at NorthPark Center.

The $700,000 project involves upgrades of existing retail space at the mall, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. The renovations are expected to begin on January 2 and have a delivery date of April 26. Antonio Maiuolo Architect PLLC of White Plains, New York, is listed as the design firm for the project.

Spokespersons for Givenchy and NorthPark did not reply to messages seeking comment about the store opening. However, Givenchy posted on its LinkedIn account that it is hiring for positions at the new location.

Hubert James Taffin de Givenchy founded his namesake company in 1952. The following year, he met actress Audrey Hepburn, and the two worked together to invent “a style that would redefine standards of elegance.”

The “Givenchy Gentleman” line was launched in 1969, and 19 years later the company was acquired by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennesy. With its luxury lines for men and women, including accessories and fragrances, Givenchy’s designers have included Clare Waight Keller, Riccardo Tisci, Julien McDonald, Alexander McQueen, and John Galliano.

The NorthPark store will be Givenchy’s first in Texas, according to its website. The mall is home to several other luxury fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton, Armani Exchange, Prada, St. John, and Versace. It already sells many of its products at Neiman Marcus stores nationally.

In addition to Givenchy, Antonio Maiuolo Architect has designed other upscale retailers across the country, including Ann Fontaine, Armani, Jimmy Choo, and Ermanno Scervino.
