A Dallas-based fitness company has opened a facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and plans to open another next year as part of its growth plans.
“As we continue to grow and expand our impact in Texas communities, we’re eager to welcome new fitness enthusiasts to the EoS family at our first locations in Richmond and DeSoto,” chief operating officer Richard Idgar said in a news release. “EoS strives to fill the gap of accessible fitness options within the communities we serve, offering an affordable, high-end fitness experience that covers members from warm-up to cool-down.”
In addition to DeSoto, EoS Fitness is opening locations in North Richland Hills and Plano.
“EoS now has nine locations open for business in Texas, offering accessible, state-of-the-art fitness amenities to fitness fans of all levels, with memberships starting at just $9.99 per month,” according to the release.
With plans to open 50 more facilities in the Dallas and Houston areas, the company expects to create thousands of jobs by 2028.
Located at 1300 W. Belt Line Rd., the DeSoto location covers more than 55,500 square feet and offers features such as MOVEoS, where members can get their cardio workouts while watching a film, and CryoLounge+ users are offered cooling and heat therapy. The facility also comes with an indoor pool, hot tub, cycle studio, and outdoor workout area with fitness toys and a Kids’ Club.
Other amenities include:
- EoS Smart Strength Equipment, a seven-piece strength training equipment line that personalizes and “gamifies” each member’s workout.
- The Tank, “a recovery space with Hyperice percussion massagers, Normatec compression boots, and professional-grade stretch tables.”
- The Recovery Room, a relaxation area with Human Touch massage chairs and ambient lighting.
- Evolt 360 Body Composition Scanner.
- Weekly group fitness and cycle classes.
- 100+ Les Mills On-Demand workouts such as BODYPUMP, BODYCOMBAT, and BODYBALANCE.
- Certified personal training.
- The EoS Yard, an indoor green-turf functional training area.
- Free weights up to 150 pounds.
- Saunas.
- Locker rooms with showers.
- Towel service.
EoS Fitness operates more than 125 locations in Arizona, Florida, Nevada, Southern California, Texas, and Utah, according to its website.
