Super Lawyers has chosen Maxine Aaronson as one of the top five percent of tax attorneys in Texas for 2021, her tenth year to be so recognized.

Ms. Aaronson is a Texas tax attorney located in Dallas who helps clients manage the impact of federal and state tax laws on their families and businesses. Many of her clients are businesses owners who benefit from her legal advice and assistance to make tax-smart business decisions. Aaronson also helps individuals plan for retirement and execute wealth transfers to succeeding generations.

She concentrates her practice around business and tax planning, structuring and documenting business transactions, resolving issues with the Internal Revenue Service, as well as exit and succession planning. In addition to this latest selection to Super Lawyers, Ms. Aaronson is also peer-rated “AV-Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell for her high ethical standards and legal ability. She is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and served for six years as a member of the College’s governing Board of Regents.

Super Lawyers, a division of Thomson Reuters, is a lawyer rating service that evaluates attorneys based on surveys, independent research, and peer reviews by colleagues in the same practice area. Based on this analysis, the Super Lawyers list recognizes lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. In any given year, the number of lawyers selected to Super Lawyers is limited to five percent of lawyers within each state.

Ms. Aaronson explained after receiving news of her selection: “Although my main focus is always on helping my clients and their businesses grow and prosper, it is an honor to be recognized again by Super Lawyers. It is especially gratifying to be honored knowing how much emphasis they place on peer evaluations in the selection process. Being recognized by my colleagues in the tax bar means a great deal to me.”
