Louis Vuitton’s next fashion show will take place in Dallas at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science on Saturday, as reported by NBC.
The November 12 show will exhibit the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2023 Collection. Each morning and afternoon event will admit 200 people who are welcomed by invitation only.
The shows themselves will be hosted in the lobby, which has many windows, allowing for lots of natural light. Louis Vuitton is catering its decor to match the museum concrete exactly.
The Cruise show has traveled to various beautiful locations, including the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It has also visited the Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Niterói (MAC) museum in Brazil and the Miho Museum in Kyoto, Japan.
The luxury brand always selects beautiful and interesting architectural buildings for its shows, with an emphasis on venues with natural lighting.
Chantel Boudreaux, the director of operations and events for the Perot, explained why the French luxury fashion house chose the museum. “They are really playing up how our building looks. How incredible the architecture really is, sleek lines, concrete, window, light,” Boudreaux explained.
Though the Perot rests in the heart of downtown Dallas and serves as an interesting backdrop and lighting.
For the Louis Vuitton 2023 Cruise collection, the sun plays an important role, as temperature changes are a key factor in the style and design of the collection.
Those invited to the exclusive event will be the company’s “top clients as well as key local press and influencers,” according to a Louis Vuitton spokesman.
An expected 200 people will be in attendance for both the fashion show’s morning and evening events, which is well beneath the typical maximum volume of the space.
The Perot Museum can hold groups of 1,500 if the entire museum is booked. However, you can also book a single floor for fewer people, which people often do for various types of events.
