KickHouse franchisee Michael Anderson has acquired the company’s studio in McKinney, making it the second property in his portfolio.
“The KickHouse business model resonated with me from the start,” he said in a news release. “Emphasis on high-energy kickboxing workouts and science-backed programming coupled with a supportive community, has been instrumental in creating an engaging fitness environment. It’s more than a workout. It’s a lifestyle.”
Anderson also owns KickHouse in Parker, Colorado. The franchise company was founded in Dallas in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Having achieved milestones rapidly with his first studio, Anderson’s commitment to the business model is the cornerstone of his success,” the company said in the release. “His passion for the KickHouse brand and dedication to delivering an exceptional fitness experience to members sets a benchmark for excellence within the franchise network.”
The other Texas studio is in Frisco.
“I’ve assembled a team from our first studio to train new studio teams, ensuring consistent cross-location management,” Anderson said.
Plano-based Mayweather Fitness Holdings, owned by undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, acquired KickHouse in 2022 in a move Anderson calls “a game-changer.”
“It’s instilled greater confidence in my investment,” he said, according to the release. “The expertise and backing of corporate amplify the potential of KickHouse and fueled my desire to grow within this competitive space.”
Mayweather Fitness Holdings operates more than 100 locations across the United States. A boutique fitness franchise, KickHouse concentrates its training on fight physics and exercise science. The McKinney studio is at 5100 Eldorado Pkwy. In Frisco, KickHouse is located at 8845 Gary Burns Dr.
