T-Mobile is among several telecommunications companies breached in a sweeping Chinese cyber-espionage campaign.

Hackers allegedly linked to Chinese intelligence-targeted telecom networks to monitor the communications of key intelligence figures, The Wall Street Journal reported.

T-Mobile assured customers that its systems and data have not been significantly affected, stating there is no evidence that customer information, such as call records, was compromised.

The breach is part of a broader cyber threat impacting multiple U.S. and global telecom providers.

Reports in October revealed similar attacks on Verizon, AT&T, and Lumen Technologies, exposing sensitive government wiretapping systems.

Last week, the FBI and CISA disclosed that China-based hackers intercepted surveillance data intended for U.S. law enforcement, highlighting vulnerabilities in critical communication networks.

T-Mobile and other providers are closely monitoring the situation as cyber threats from state-sponsored groups continue to escalate.

This incident underscores the growing challenge of securing telecom networks against sophisticated cyber-attacks.
