Seven of Spirit Airlines’ 10 flights scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) have been delayed.
Technical issues forced 40% of its flights to be delayed nationwide, the budget airline said on social media.
The issues with Spirit’s website, app, and airport kiosks have been fixed, the airline said on Twitter. But delays have backed up traffic.
DFW’s Spirit Airlines tracker listed flights to Cancun, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Phoenix, New Orleans, and Las Vegas as being delayed.
“We apologize for any delays and inconvenience, and we’re now working our way back to normal operations,” the company said in a statement.
