Adirondack-style patio chairs sold at Lowe’s and The Home Depot stores nationwide have been recalled due to a collapse risk.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall after determining that the chairs can crack unexpectedly.

The recall affects about 6,100 units of outdoor chairs purchased during the late summer shopping season. Consumers who bought these popular patio chairs should stop using them immediately to avoid potential injuries.

Adams Manufacturing Corp., based in Portersville, Pennsylvania, manufactured the recalled chairs. The company sold them under the brand names Adams RealComfort and StyleWell.

The chairs were available in seven colors: blue, dark gray, navy blue, taupe, light blue, lime green, and teal. Both retailers sold the chairs from August 2025 through October 2025.

Consumers can identify the recalled chairs by checking underneath for specific markings. The model number “ML837-15” and the manufacture date of August 2025 are molded on the underside.

The manufacture date appears as a dot on a grid at the intersection of column “A” and row “25”. This marking system helps identify the specific production batch affected by the recall.

Both Lowe’s and The Home Depot are accepting returns at any store location. Customers will receive a full refund for the recalled chairs.

The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the chairs immediately. No injuries have been reported in connection with this recall at the time of publication.
