The Afghan national who allegedly plotted to bomb the Fort Worth area said he “came to commit suicide” in a video obtained by The Dallas Express.
Mohammad Dawood Alokozay, 30, a Fort Worth resident from Afghanistan, faced federal terrorism charges on December 2 for “threatening to build a bomb, conduct a suicide attack, and kill Americans and others,” as The Dallas Express previously reported. The threats were made during a Nov. 23 video call, according to the federal complaint.
Political commentator Benny Johnson published a two-minute video on November 29 showing Alokozay vowing violence against the Dallas–Fort Worth area. According to Johnson, the suspect said, “I am going to commit suicide. I am going to kill the infidels.”
Now, The Dallas Express has obtained Alokozay’s full remarks in a longer, six-minute video. The criminal complaint against the suspect featured a screenshot from the film. The video matches key details described in the federal filing.

The Threats
The video shows Alokozay speaking with two other men, allegedly threatening to commit a suicide attack on other participants of the call plus “infidels” and Americans. Specifically, he reportedly planned to build a bomb in his vehicle. He said the Taliban were “dear to him,” and that he came to America to kill Americans and others on the call.
According to the complaint, he also referenced a yellow cooking oil container commonly used by the Taliban to build improvised explosive devices in Afghanistan.
The FBI used a certified interpreter of the Afghan dialect Dari to translate the video. The Dallas Express reviewed the clip only to understand general context but relies on the FBI-certified translation for accuracy.
The following are some of Alokozay’s major remarks from the video, as translated:
“We’ll do it here in America… we’ll do it here in Fort Worth.”
“I came for you, I came to commit suicide on your head.”
“Yes, I’ll kill you.”
“We don’t care about deportation, about dying, about these things.”
The other men on the call made remarks including the following, as translated:
“You’re in Dallas. You’re killing Americans in the location.”
“You said we’re arranging a bomb in the car.”
“Where do you get the bomb from?”
The Arrest
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers flagged the video for the FBI November 25, according to the complaint previously obtained by The Dallas Express.
After an investigation and surveillance of his Fort Worth residence, FBI agents and officers with the Fort Worth Police Department arrested Alokozay on his way to work in Hurst. Law enforcement booked him into the Tarrant County Jail on November 25.
Alokozay was initially charged with making a terrorist threat and impeding a public servant/fear of severe bodily injury/influencing government. Officials booked him as “white” due to decades-old reporting standards.
The suspect entered America under former President Joe Biden’s Operation Allies Welcome, as The Dallas Express previously reported. If convicted on the federal charge, he faces up to five years in prison.
This is the same program that admitted the Afghan national accused of ambushing two National Guard soldiers outside the White House on November 26 — one day after Alokozay’s arrest. One of the soldiers has since died, and the other remains in critical condition but showing “positive signs.”
