Bishop Lynch High School issued the following announcement on May 27
The BL Friar Choir swept the competition this spring in the American Classic National Music Festival “Share the Music,” which was held virtually this year. BL’s three choirs showed the commitment to excellence that continues to be the hallmark of the program.
Made more challenging this year because they sang in small classes and only came together once in early May to film their contest pieces, the BL Choir also demonstrated that it is possible to make great music while wearing masks, and that choir students who “zoomed” into class this year didn’t miss a beat when they arrived to film the competition performance!
The results are truly a reflection of the hard work they have done all year.
