A fire broke out at an apartment complex in southeast Dallas early Thursday, according to a report by The Dallas Morning News.   Â
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the Creekside Villas Apartments in the 400 block of Jim Miller Road.    Â
According to the department, the fire started from a first-floor apartment, and three more apartments sustained smoke and water damage.   Â
While investigators said it began in the living room of the first-floor apartment, they have not yet found the cause.
Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said the fire crew rescued a woman from the apartment. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries, as was a man who was found outside of the apartment when firefighters arrived. The condition of the two is unknown as of Thursday morning.   Â
The exact number of people affected was not disclosed. However, officials said that all displaced residents have found housing with family members. Â
