Employees looking for full-time work and part-time are encouraged to apply with some positions offering benefits that include a 401k plus matching, health insurance coverage and paid time off.

Amazon is looking to hire thousands in an effort to increase their services in the area with fulfillment centers, sorting departments, delivery centers and more.

In North Texas, Amazon has delivery stations in Arlington, McKinney, Balch Springs, Fort Worth, and Mansfield. Amazon also lists roughly 40,000 openings for both corporate and tech jobs throughout the nation.

“Lots of great opportunity to start a career, change a career or grow a career with Amazon,” Ardine Williams, the Vice-President of Workforce Development, shared when discussing the abundance of job openings.

“We have safety professionals, we have HR professionals, we have area managers that are working with our associates to make sure we meet that customer expectation. So, actually tremendous opportunity across the Dallas-Fort Worth area,” Williams added.

Last week, Amazon opened a new delivery facility in Spring, Texas that encompasses 200,000 square feet. The location now employs roughly 200 full-time and part-time employees. The facility is being used for packages to be stored before they make their way to customers.
