Season 3 of “Love Is Blind,” set to premiere on October 19 on Netflix, will feature Dallas area singles.
In the reality dating show, singles meet in “pods,” where they cannot see each other, only hear each other’s voice.
This season, 15 men and 15 women will attempt to pair up.
Before they can see their significant other in person, contestants must commit to getting engaged. The couples are then thrown into living together for a month, before deciding at the altar whether or not they will say, “I do.”
Vanessa and Nick Lachey host, hoping to prove that “love really is blind.” Each season features singles from different areas. Last season was set around Chicago singles.
Though the last season resulted in two marriages. Both couples are already in the process of divorce proceedings.
Although Netflix foots the bill for the bulk of the cost of the weddings and rings, it remains to be seen whether Netflix pays for the divorce proceedings, which likely falls on the reality stars’ shoulders.
Before the release of the third season, Netflix is releasing an episode updating viewers on the life of the season 2 couples “after the altar.”
