A fire engine in Fort Worth flipped over Saturday morning, injuring four firefighters.
Around 3:30 a.m. near Ellis Avenue, Fort Worth Fire Department firefighters were responding to a house fire north of Billy Bob’s when their vehicle, Engine 12, crashed on NW 28th Street. No other vehicles were involved as the fire engine rolled.

The four firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and have since been released, only sustaining minor injuries.
The Fort Worth Fire Department explained that by 11:00 a.m., “Our firefighters have been treated and released from the hospital. Thank you for your outpouring of support and prayers.”

The crash on September 3 is still under investigation.
