Following a viral video of an altercation between a man and two women on the North Central Expressway during a road-rage incident, the man was taken into custody on Tuesday.
Jaleel Sheehy, 25, has apparently been identified as the individual who assaulted two women after allegedly sideswiping their car in the 2400 block of North Central Expressway on June 23. Around 12:15 a.m., the women flagged down the police to report the incident.
One of the victims, Shaudae McMillan, posted a video of the man punching herself and her friend after trying to exchange insurance information, as reported by The Dallas Express.
He turns to face the person recording, and as he does so, the camera drops to the ground, and yelling is heard. Prior to the video ending, a woman in a blue shirt grabs the camera, and it appears her nose is bleeding. The suspect then drove away.
Sheehy allegedly broke the passenger’s nose.
“I should not have to fight my way out of a routine accident,” McMillan said to Fox 4. “But as soon as we stepped out of the car, the driver of the car was the guy in the video, he was very irate. I mean, he came out of the car calling us all types of names and saying that we damaged his car.”
Sheehy was located following the submission of an anonymous tip, according to detectives. The man is charged with two misdemeanor counts of assault.
