A motorcycle crash on I-30 in Dallas early Friday morning left the rider with severe injuries, according to WFAA.
At 3:34 a.m. on July 1, 911 dispatchers received a call about the accident on the eastbound lane of I-30 over Peak Avenue, according to a detective from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department (DCSD).
DCSD deputies said that by the time they arrived at the scene of the accident, the motorcyclist had already been taken to nearby Baylor Hospital by the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department. The man was in critical condition when he arrived at the hospital.
DCSD learned that the motorcyclist was placed on life support in the intensive care unit.
Authorities investigating the crash said it appears the man lost control of the motorcycle, causing him to fall and slide across the freeway.
No further personal or identifying information about the injured man has thus far been released. His name, age, and other identifying characteristics remain unknown.
No one else was injured in the incident.
