McKinney native Josh Milla cemented his commitment to the men’s soccer program at Rogers State University (RSU) in Claremore, Oklahoma.

The Hillcats officially announced their pickup of the midfielder back in April.

“Welcome to the Hillcat family Josh Milla,” the RSU athletic department wrote on Facebook. “The McKinney, Texas native joins the men’s soccer program and comes to RSU from Lone Star High School and FC Dallas!”

Milla is the only Texas signee on the RSU men’s soccer team, the NCAA Div. II institution’s updated list of athletic commitments shows as of June 22.

As a prep player, Milla took home district co-MVP honors to cap his senior and last season.

Standing at 5 feet 7 inches and weighing 131 pounds, he’s also a member of FC Dallas, having played for the MLS franchise’s U-17 Academy.

He competed in soccer tournaments in four different countries, his FC Dallas profile stated.
