It is never too early for holiday planning, and the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is getting a jump on the holiday festivities with Lightscape. Thousands of lights will illuminate the botanic gardens after dark starting November 18 through January 8.
Over one million holiday lights will transform the Fort Worth Botanic Garden with tunnels, fire, sculptures, bluebonnets, and artistic installations throughout a one-mile winding walking trail.
Music will play an integral part of the holiday event, with singing trees and holiday music playing throughout the trail.
Guests can toast marshmallows over a fire and grab cups of hot chocolate and other seasonal beverages as they make their way through Lightscape.
“We are beyond ecstatic to announce that Lightscape is making its debut in Fort Worth during the 2022 holiday season and that North Texans will have the opportunity to experience this internationally renowned holiday light show at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden for the first time ever,” said Patrick Newman, CEO & President of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
Admission is by ticket only, with entry times every 15 minutes from 5:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. nightly. Although there is no set time limit, the average tour lasts about an hour and a half from beginning to end.
Admission starts at $28 for adults; children aged 3-12 are $18, and infants up to two years old are free. Groups of 20 or more will receive 20% off general admission. All Fort Worth Botanical Garden members will receive $5 off admission prices. Tickets are on sale now.
The internationally acclaimed holiday event has experienced sold-out shows in London, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.
“Following sold-out shows in cities across the world, we look forward to transforming the Garden into an enchanting after-dark spectacular like no other,” said Newman.
