According to Dallas Police, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were arrested Friday morning in connection with the killing of another adolescent found shot to death in a car in east Oak Cliff last month, The Dallas Morning News reports.
According to authorities, 16-year-old Martin Rivera was discovered in a car driven into a residence in the 1200 block of Diceman Avenue on March 13 with several gunshot wounds. None of the residents of the house were injured.
Police did not reveal the boys’ identities, but said they received a report from Crime Stoppers on April 22 that identified the two teens as suspects in the murder of Rivera.
Officers and U.S. Marshals apprehended the teenagers at 6 a.m. on April 22. They were transported to the Henry Wade Juvenile Detention.
