A two-year-old child was fatally hit by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Buckner Terrace.
According to Dallas Police, the boy was running toward an ice cream truck at around 8:15 p.m. when an SUV struck him.
The truck was parked at an apartment complex in the 4100 block of Delafield Lane in Dallas.
A 53-year-old woman driving a 2003 Chevy Tahoe in the complex attempted to pass the parked ice cream truck when the boy ran out in front of her car.
The child, identified as Messiah Glover, was transported to Children’s Medical Center, where he died.
According to police, the collision is still being investigated, but no charges are expected at this time.
