Smartphone users will see new emojis hit their screens with the most recent iPhone update, Apple revealed on March 14.
The iOS 15.4 update includes thirty-seven base emoji additions, including new smiley faces, with over one hundred options that allow for gender consistency, multi-racial handshakes, and more.
Twitter account Emojipedia provided an image featuring some of the recently-created options.

Last September, the non-profit organization in charge of permitting all emojis, Unicode Consortium, approved the new digital images.
Apple users took to Twitter to share their thoughts over the update.
“These new emojis are elite,” said one user, adding a covering-your-face-with-peeking-eye-and-making-a-heart-with-hands emoji.
Another said, “There’s new emojis????? Omg! The hands making a heart is my favourite,” and included a radiating heart to the end of the tweet.
Before you can gain access to the new emojis, be sure to have enough storage on your phone.
As one Twitter user jokingly said, “no storage on my phone, so no update for me; if you text with the new emojis, please provide a written explanation and description, preferably under 100 words.”
