The Arlington Municipal Court is currently conducting a citation and warrant resolution until March 14.

In a statement on its website, the city said that the court would continue to be a “Safe Harbor Court” where residents can come to resolve their conflicts without the fear of being arrested due to outstanding warrants with the City of Arlington.

The city encourages anyone with a citation to contact Arlington Municipal Court during the resolution period. According to the city, those who pay their warrants in full will not need to pay agency fees during this period.

According to Court Administrator Jake Medrano, the program’s goal is to work with defendants so they become compliant with their court obligations.

“Having a warrant can be stressful and create barriers. This is a great opportunity to come in without fear of arrest to find out what options are available,” Medrano said.

The court, located inside City Tower at 101 S. Mesquite St., will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for court clerk customer services and payments.
