March 5 – Turtle Creek Chorale Benefit Gala
Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Audra McDonald is the headliner at the Turtle Creek Chorale’s benefit gala. This year’s event is titled Rhapsody.
The evening will feature an opening reception, a seated dinner, an open bar, a live auction, and an intimate performance by Ms. McDonald. Do not go home too early, as there will be an afterparty experience with the IDT Band and dessert.
Proceeds from this event will support the Chorale’s mission to entertain, educate, unite, and inspire through its musical, cultural, and educational programs. One of the programs, the “You Are Light Project,” is an educational initiative for schools, youth centers, and organizations that addresses suicide awareness, mental health concerns, and bullying.
The Turtle Creek Chorale will donate to the Black Theatre United in honor of Ms. McDonald’s performance. The Turtle Creek Chorale’s benefit gala will start at 5:30 p.m. and be held at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center located at 2301 Flora Street, Dallas, TX. Tickets begin at $75.00.
March 7 – Art in Bloom 2022: Art of the Jewel
The Dallas Museum of Art League will host its twenty-second annual Art in Bloom 2022: Art of the Jewel on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA).
Chaired by Sila Grogan and co-chair Pat McDonough, with honorary chair Peggy Sewell, the Art in Bloom event will start with a reception followed by featured speaker Paula Crevoshay. Crevoshay is an internationally acclaimed jewelry designer known for her botanical collection of bespoke jewelry.
The event will include a seated luncheon in the museum’s Hamon Atrium. During the luncheon, a presentation of the inaugural members of the “Circle of Gems” will serve as models for Paula Crevoshay’s fabulous jewelry.
The day’s final event will be dessert, a luxury live auction, and the announcement of raffle prize winners. Contributions to this year’s Art in Bloom event will support the Dallas Museum of Art.

April 2 – Nasher Prize Award Gala
The annual Nasher Prize Award Gala will happen on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Nasher Sculpture Center. The 2022 laureate, sculpture artist Nairy Baghramian, will be honored at this year’s event.
Each year the Nasher Prize laureate is selected by an international jury of esteemed museum directors, curators, scholars, and artists. A full season of diverse programming inspired by the laureate – discussions and lectures, family and student programs, community partnerships, and more – engages thousands of art-lovers in Dallas and far beyond, both in-person and virtually.
Then, the festivities culminate with the one-of-a-kind Nasher Prize Award Gala. Proceeds from the Nasher Prize Gala benefit Nasher Prize programming and help sustain year-around work done by the Nasher Sculpture Center, such as thought-provoking exhibitions, impactful education, and community initiatives.

April 6 – Room To Grow Luncheon 2022
Dec My Room, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children experiencing prolonged hospital stays, will host its fourth annual Room to Grow Luncheon and Fashion Presentation on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Neiman Marcus Courtyard at NorthPark Center.
Room To Grow is chaired by Dawn Greiner and Terra Najork and will feature a reception, luxury raffle items, a seated luncheon, and a fashion presentation of the top spring trends from Neiman Marcus NorthPark. Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, NorthPark’s Fashion and Lifestyle Ambassador, and Kameron Westcott, founder of SparkleDog Pet Products, blogger, and former cast member of BRAVO TV’s The Real Housewives of Dallas, will host the fashion show. Following the presentation, a reception with bubbles and sweets will be held on level two of Neiman Marcus.

April 4 – Legacy of Love
The Women’s Auxiliary is sponsoring the seventh annual Legacy of Love benefit for Children’s Medical Center Plano. The evening of fashion will be chaired by Joe Muns and hosted by Sonia Azad and Colleen Coyle from WFAA. There will be a lovely cocktail reception, luxury raffle, fashions featuring the season’s best styles presented by Neiman Marcus Willow Bend, and even a special fashion show with Children’s Health patients as the models!
Legacy of Love will be held at The Omni Hotel at The Star in Frisco, 11 Cowboys Way. Individual tickets are priced from $250, tables and sponsorships from $1,500.
April 8 – AWARE Affair 2022
Join event chairs Mari Epperson and Sharon Ballew for AWARE Affair 2022 on April 8, 2022, from 6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Be taken to new heights at one of Dallas’ most iconic landmarks, the Star Skyline Hangar at the Braniff Centre. The net proceeds from AWARE Affair will support local organizations fighting Alzheimer’s disease. The evening will include cocktails, silent and live auctions, and a seated dinner with live music.

April 9 – Art Ball
The Art Ball returns to the Dallas Museum of Art to celebrate the museum’s first ball in 1962 with “TABLEAUX: 60 Years of Art Ball.”
This sixties-themed, black-tie event will host an intimate crowd of 350 guests. Brian Bolke is the ball chair. The Art Ball supports the museum’s mission to offer free admission to more than 800,000 annual visitors.

April 14 – Genesis Annual Luncheon
The twenty-ninth annual luncheon will feature Grammy-Award-winning singer-songwriter Michael Bolton, as the keynote speaker, who hopefully will give attendees some bars of “When a Man Loves a Woman” during his presentation. Held at the Hilton Anatole, the luncheon will raise funds for the Genesis Women’s Shelter. Proceeds will benefit Genesis’ efforts to provide safety, shelter, and support to women who have experienced domestic violence.

April 20 – Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
Pull out your most oversized hat – because, of course, everything is bigger in Texas – for the thirty-fourth annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at the Dallas Arboretum. The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party will be held on April 20, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. The event is chaired by Claire Catrino, with Laurie Sands Harrison serving as honorary chair and Lisa Loy Laughlin serving as president of the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum.
The afternoon will include a champagne reception, tea, hat contest, and a fashion show presented by Jan Strimple and Tootsies Boutique. Former FOX 4 news reporter Calvert Collins will be the mistress of ceremonies. Funds raised benefit A Woman’s Garden, the only public garden in the nation conceived by women, funded by the efforts of women, and dedicated to the universal spirit of women.

April 21 – Junior League of Dallas Luncheon
The Junior League of Dallas is celebrating its centennial year in a big way with the queen of homemaking, Martha Stewart as the keynote speaker. Luncheon Chair Isabell Novakov Higginbotham and Sustaining Chair Lydia Novakov have designed a beautiful event that will honor Dallas resident and former first lady Laura Bush with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Veletta Forsythe Lill will be honored as Sustainer of the Year.
The luncheon will be at the Hilton Anatole, and proceeds will benefit the Junior League’s many civic causes. Tickets start at $350. The luncheon will be followed by the Centennial Gala, held on April 23, 2022, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel.

April 22 – UNICEF Gala
February did not move to the springtime, but the annual UNICEF Gala has. Leading the event this year are Joyce Goss, Kara Goss, Claire Haidar, Jennifer Karol, Jessica Nowitzki, Selwyn Rayzor, and Alexandra Suich Bass. Moving from its original date of February 4, this annual star-studded affair will be held at the Thompson Dallas and honor local philanthropist Abigail Williams.
The Mavericks’ DJ Poizon Ivy will perform at the afterparty. The evening will start at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, followed by a seated dinner, with an afterparty to conclude the night. UNICEF’s retro glamor black-tie event benefits UNICEF’s life-saving programs worldwide.

April 22 – Children’s Cancer Fund Gala
The Children’s Cancer Fund Gala “Color Out Cancer” celebrates thirty-two years of stories dedicated to survival. Gala Chair Amanda Dillard Shufeldt joins longtime Honorary Co-Chairs Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman to kick off the evening.
The Gala will take place on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the Hilton Anatole Dallas, beginning at 6 p.m. with a silent auction and VIP reception, followed by a seated dinner and program. Tickets are $300.
April 29 – Pop Fizz Clink! A WiNGS Fling
Pop Fizz Clink! A WiNGS Fling is the new kid on the block for the gala scene. The fresh fundraiser supports WiNGS’ mission to empower women, fight poverty, and impact generations in North Texas. The fabulous brunch-inspired event will be held Friday, April 29, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy champagne and brunch favorites that captivate all the senses and find inspiration from the women of WiNGS. April 29 – Red Tie Gala
Step through the iconic red doors for Cancer Support Community North Texas’ (CSCNT) second annual Red Tie Gala. Co-chairs Laura and Doug Wheat and Susan and Scott Salka have themed the evening “Dance The Night Away,” complete with professional dancers and dance instructors to teach “strolling dances.”
Hosted by WFAA Good Morning Texas host and CSCNT advocate Hanna Davis, the event will be held at The Empire Room from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. The evening will include live music, an open bar, tapas, raffles, and silent and live auctions.
CSCNT is the leading non-profit providing emotional and social support to people living with cancer and their families across North Texas.
