Dallas police said that a woman was shot in Lake Highlands the early hours of February 1. She later died from the wounds.
Per a news report by The Dallas Morning News, officers with the Dallas Police Department found the woman with gunshot wounds at the intersection of Whitehurst Drive and Fair Oaks Crossing. Police say she had four gunshot wounds in her shoulder.
Police say they found the woman about 4:20 a.m.
The woman was transferred to a hospital. However, she was pronounced dead.
Police have not released the identity of the woman.
