Deputies at the Harris County Constable Precinct 5 arrested umpire Brent Thrasher after he allegedly brought crystal meth to a little league baseball game on February 12.
The incident occurred about 30 miles west of Houston, in Katy Park in the 24900 block of Morton Ranch Road, after a concerned citizen spotted Thrasher, 35, an umpire for the game, engaging in suspicious activity in his vehicle.
Police found 2.7 grams of crystal meth in the man’s car, and he was taken into custody.
Thrasher was booked in the Harris County Jail on a controlled substance charge with a $2,500 bond. He has since made bail.
