NeptuneChain, headquartered in Dallas, is a leader in Web 3.0 Innovations and Regenerative Finance. The company announced on February 1 it is launching its NFT marketplace and releasing a beta of its nutrient pollution pilot exchange.
Throughout 2021, the #NeptuneTeam began creating a marketplace of audited nitrogen and phosphorus offsets, referred to as “water quality credits” in the United States. Initially, the project’s founders aligned on a shared realization: America’s watersheds are unprotected, and its communities are at risk.
The founders created NeptuneChain to streamline the water quality trading process. NeptuneChain is all about helping to build and sustain a network of regenerative nutrient banks. The website provides a comprehensive database that consolidates thousands of historical and current watershed data points from millions of acres of impaired waters across the country.
DEX are decentralized cryptocurrency trading platforms. DEX will empower its users to participate in the water quality validation network through the connection of structured watershed databases to the blockchain. This platform is intended to simplify the removal of pollutants from U.S. waterways.
Water quality markets allow participants to buy and sell credits for reducing pollution levels with a cost-effective regenerative methodology. The NeptuneChain team’s goal is to build an ecosystem with its community to become network players who continually evaluate and improve the NeptuneChain ecosystem. The company is partnering with other green-focused, consumer-coordinated groups to accelerate water quality trading and encourage climate literacy.
NeptuneChain allows users to view historical watershed and water quality records, trade certified permanent and renewable withdrawals, and “Play2Earn” and “Learn2Earn” crypto-currency games that teach best practices in water quality management. The NeptuneChain team has launched its NFT marketplace on OpenSea and mint.neptunechain.io to fund growth and scalability in its operation.
