According to a Dallas Morning News report, a man was shot inside a car on the evening of January 18.
Per the news report, Dallas police said they were called to a shooting around the border of Deep Ellum and Old East Dallas at about 8 p.m. that evening. When responding officers got to the scene at the intersection of Canton Street and Exposition Avenue, they found a man had been shot inside a car.
The victim was transferred to a hospital, where he later died.
The Dallas Police Department has not released the identity of the man.
It is unclear if police have determined a suspect in the shooting as they did not release additional information on the case. They, however, said that an investigation is ongoing.
