In the latest episode of Going Rogue with Lara Logan, retired U.S. Army General Charles Flynn delivers a blunt warning: the United States is running out of time to confront China’s expanding power.
Flynn, who previously commanded U.S. Army Pacific, says China’s rise has not been sudden but incremental, insidious, and deliberate, combining military modernization with economic pressure, supply-chain dominance, and influence operations across the Indo-Pacific.
While Americans remain focused on wars in Europe and the Middle East, Flynn argues the most consequential long-term threat is unfolding closer to home — through dependence on China for critical minerals, pharmaceuticals, fuel processing, and industrial manufacturing.
