To further her academic and athletic career, fresh Rockwall High School graduate Lesley Lyon will just have to make a 30-minute drive.
Lyon, who lettered with the Lady Jackets girls soccer team, is going to matriculate with Richland College, having made her pledge with the Metroplex school official in late April.
“Congratulations to Lesley Lyon! She will be continuing her academic and soccer career at Richland College. We are proud of you, Les,” her former program tweeted.
Richland College landed a player who has all-district first-team honors under her belt.
Lyon made the 11-6A All-District First Team as a junior in 2020.
She was also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletics Soccer All-Star Blue Team for girls soccer, the Tyler Morning Telegraph reported.
